Thank you, Rahdne: " Rahdne Zola ::Life's undulations... that is the beauty, I suppose, of feeling so deeply. The undulations become more pronounced, more exhilarating, more passionate, more devastating. Only you, dear friend, could depict this so wonderfully, so lusciously. Fav/tweet!"

Going through the hills, valleys and "texture" of life while sharing an intensity of passion that holds the thread together, couldn't be better spoken without words... Bravo, Ms. VIVA. ... Hugs, Dar

Maybe it says more about the observer than the observed... Here I see Satyr and Nymph. His horn bent back seemingly innocuously. Her knee, bent up, inviting his intense gaze. A golden chain (here depicted as purple) acts as his head band from antler to antler.... Yup, prolly says more about the observer. But this is the best part of your work, it tells a thousand stories, the only thing the observer need do is to be open to the narrative. Thank you for bringing me back here VIVA. PLAU Uther

I am not entirely sure if I like this better as a painting or as a photograph. As a painting it is certainly lush and greasy and tempt you to put your hand in up to the wrists. But the painting is only the beginning. This is absolutely about the external lighting cast harshly from below to emphasize the dynamics, the textures. It is the interplay of the art with its environment that make this more of a photograph than a painting...... Just because, I can't not mention the royal (of course, it's purple, so it must be royalty, or clergy) wearing his crown and assessing his mountainous realm. Brava, VIVA. PLAU UPD

VIVA Anderson replied:

Uther, thank you - deeply....for a time I thought it just looks like a pile of (s)Paint...! I don't know even now, why I posted it......but, thankfully, you seem to get into it up to your wrists and eyebrows, to find my own elusive purpose......and I see it better thru your eyes, so unique in vision/purpose...always,yes, for me it is about the paint, the textures, the light, in abstraction.......I am so proud of your thoughts about this, another 'enigma' - even for me.......VIVA
