Description
Grandfather William -Odessa, Ukraine, is an heirloom photo from our family archives. He was my Father's Father, and pinched my cheeky face so much, it hurt. Remembering in
Honour. Circa 1885.
We were told he was 'tailor to the Czar of Russia', before he 'escaped', and in the
USA, went to Atlantic City to settle, then Philadelphia, as a widower, with his new
wife, an opera singer and so beautiful (no pix/sorry). Creativity ! Runs in the
family. Five musicians, three Artists. Nobody rich! lol. One a "n'er do well"/my cousin.

He is in every one of us who survived him;he had five children, all born in USA, Philadelphia. Three sons, two daughters... all dearly departed now, my cousins...I have lost touch .. but I do remember them all.....V.
