Her works are in the diverse styles of semi-abstract, abstract, realism, or minimalism, depending on the subject to which she responds, and in brilliant color, ton sur ton, and in B/W - which she finds answers and often clarifies her ideas. Art has been her passion and solace over seven decades now, and she is fortunate to have patrons at all levels and taste of art collectors, internationally, because her work is timeless............. The black and white is certainly one reason but there is more than that. I finally realized that I like it because it defies its title. A lily, in extremis, should be disappearing into the dark background but this one seems more to be coming to the foreground. Or is that just a "hope springs eternal" outlook?
