So many memories of cats and dogs....and any time I can't sleep (often) I can always count on one of them to float by and keep me entertained by some moment we shared.....like the night Feather and I stood just a short distance away from ....an owl. These events fill me with wonder. Thanks for sharing your sweeties with us!

Thanks, Thomas......we found out the hard way...she was doing her job guarding the house outside in the driveway, and tried to mail a boy in a HOODIE...and you can bet she had some awful memory of that visage...these Rescue dogs have much they remember that we can't know about...this was one of those moments for her. I can only imagine her own turmoil. Otherwise,beautiful,loyal,and loved the Pub steps, lol.........they'd call to fetch her from blocking the entry when they opened each evening.....she loved all the patrons there, anyway. Quite the character.......... Yes, she got used to our cat......labs are just fabs !!!..........VIVA

Smokey and Sparkles, were our second pair of cats, in Sydney; who succeeded Maxi, who succeeded Thumper when in Larchmont,NY. , all before Oscar and Lucinda joined us in Oz. She may have been named Sparkles, but sadly, she was quite 'dim', xx.
