Taken at The Rocks, Sydney, Australia....
Congratulations on the feature of YOUR image in, the Fine Art America Group, "The Artistic Photographer"
Sub-titled.."Insignificance ", ..courtesy my recent viewer......
"The dark night of the soul is over at last...you are free"...
Thank you, my good friend, Omar Hafidi
''There is still a road ahead..a road not taken..a longer and more widening
road...the End sign is for the others, for me only the highway ends. I will take the long way home. This is not the end of the road, it is the end of the short cut...away with the short cuts. I know they used to take me there faster..but never on time...I was either too early or late for my time.."...
Yes, Omar, that is our fate ''if we take the short way round.''
'THE END .'Wow...what a striking image,,!!!!!!!!!! it is REALLY the end, with such a force, like that of a great cinemateque, it stops the viewers even from thinking for a while, before pulling up their thoughts and starting to realize what is going on"...OH
Thank you, Omar.
..
For me, this was so moving a sight, so significant to all of life and how neglect causes decay , of mind, and spirit.
It is testimony to my own state of mind, sometimes. But, 'progress' will be
made, and time will not stand still, here, or anywhere......a reminder of our
Fleeting Unimportance...... and disdain for truth.

So bold, yet enigmatic and mysterious, VIVA! Your use of the light in the composition makes this a marvelously compelling work. Fav'd

From my Archives......."Elizabeth Tillar , "VIVA, this is a very thought-provoking image combined with your equally intriguing description. Yes, there is something so revealing about neglect and the resulting decay. Teilhard de Chardin was inspired to become a paleontologist and theologian..." A treasured comment.....appreciated , TYTY xo:)V
