Gorgeous, VIVA. I love tree bark. The stories it could tell of all the weather and critters that visit it. lf

Two consecutive days of grayscale images for us to savor. With close observation one can find images of things we encounter elsewhere in our daily lives, something to wonder at. Ultimately, a very powerful image.
VIVA Anderson replied:
Paul, I'm thrilled by your thoughtful comment and Thank You So Much.........VIVA

There is so much to see in the bark of a tree. The older the tree, the more interesting the story. The Redwoods here in California proudly show their scars that they’ve collected over the years. This is a great piece my friend, I do love your work.
VIVA Anderson replied:
Merci, dear Mark......I always revel in your thoughts,responses......the Tree, yes, the years show.....a great analogy to our own ageing and 'knowing' real life..........Cheers, VIVA
