Her works are in the diverse styles of semi-abstract, abstract, realism, or minimalism, depending on the subject to which she responds, and in brilliant color, ton sur ton, and in B/W - which she finds answers and often clarifies her ideas. VIVA Night Walk, yes, this is 'dark',ominous,symbolism,my response to recent news about women who are hurt, under cover of darkness.....real,or imagined. I can't help it. I get upset. I put my name bold,as people do on pathways,to represent all who face the dark, alone,vulnerable. Not for the feint hearted......this is the diffused light by which some are blinded. Nobody has to comment on this.............. It is what I needed to do,say,for my own soul and those in darkness. (It is from my archives,newly refreshed.)This is high key,roughly textured,stark... as is my intent for this subject,as is the reality.....
