CONTEST......FLOWER PAINTING................................................

GUMNUTS STILL LIFE, by VIVA Anderson, is my very formal painting of the beautiful Australian gumnuts and their velvety, soft green foliage. Gumnuts are an Australian icon, representing our green and fertile land. This is set against a background of the Australian earth colours, with the dry cracked land in drought. The eucalyptus tree is a large, fast-growing evergreen that is native to Australia .
