VIVA, you continue to amaze with your uniqueness, talent, and wisdom. I love all of your art; it shows how you put your heart and soul into each image. This particular quote is my favorite, and had no idea, if it were not for you that Jimmy Carter (who I very much admire) stated this.
VIVA Anderson replied:
Dear Vivian, Thank You! I am humbled, and, proud, that you take me seriously and the time to comment, support me. With gratitude, VIVA ))

Things exist - and continue to exist - in this world because they are filling a need. Obviously, there are still people that need to learn something from this situation. Speaking for me, I have no idea who, why, when, where, or what people should experience. That's their learning path, and way above my pay grade!!! I'm not going to judge or be critical of their choices, but at the same time, that doesn't mean that I have to participate in the situation. :))
VIVA Anderson replied:
With respect, we disagree, Alegre. Without participating, change will not occur, therefore: the status quo continues.

Yes, ALEGRE....." Patience and understanding - compassion for all." , you are a peacemaker, Forrest, and, insightful to the highest, and I honour your thoughts, visit, ray of hope...but !..I am not sure about patience/understanding being strong enough to affect CHANGE, though i know your faith, I am impatient...for the 'choices' to change away from RITUAL.....:)))VIVA

VIVA ... My experience is that nothing changes unless there is a reason - to gain a reward or to avoid punishment. As long as the congregation keeps showing up every Sunday morning and dropping the envelope into the basket with a smile and a "Wonderful sermon today, pastor," why should he change anything? It's a symbiotic relationship. The pastor is offering a product and he has a church full of people every Sunday morning that want to buy it. When the consciousness grows, people will naturally change their beliefs, perceptions, and judgments - then their actions - to be more in line with Natural Laws, full of Divine Values. It is a process. Nothing is broken or wrong, good or bad, better or worse. We are all on this journey together, experiencing, learning, and growing. Patience and understanding - compassion for all.

.> Thank You VIVA for your Jimmy Carter quote ! - I hope that certain evil churches, certain religions, and of course certain retarded men, do finally get the message and stop their atrocious abuse of women ! -
VIVA Anderson replied:
