Artist's Description

SPARKLING COPPER AND ROSES, impressionism photography by VIVA Anderson, modern, orange/copper urn, is my 'turn of mind' away from b/w, just for a while; a refreshing change because this urn sparkled so much in the sunlight, once I put the Roses in to visit, that, I owed it a sparkling evocation/photograph. I've loved copper artifacts, and decorative, hand-made pieces seems like forever in my memory (long).

The history of Copper fascinates me. topological analysis placed the finds in the Copper Age or Chalcolithic period -- the transitional era after the Stone Age before metallurgists discovered that adding tin to copper produced much harder bronze, 4,000-5,000 years ago.

There was a copper mug in our family, that I treasured: all battered and worn after
years of taking it along with each move, national/international...it's somewhere, packed
away, but not forgotten. !
